Coverage in the Cordillera Central and rural mountainous interior is limited or absent from all operators. Expect no mobile service in those areas, regardless of which network your eSIM connects to.

The eSIM will automatically connect to one of the three local operators: Altice Dominicana, Claro Dominicana, or Viva Dominicana. You cannot manually lock to a specific network. All three support 4G, but only Altice and Claro offer 5G on band n78.
