These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the Onetel website and eSIM services. Placing an order or creating an account means you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

Onetel is an eSIM marketplace selling mobile data plans for travel. Once you pay, we email you a QR code. Use it to install the eSIM on a compatible, unlocked device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By using Onetel, you confirm you meet those requirements.

3. Placing Orders and Paying

  • We confirm orders by email once payment goes through.
  • Prices show in the currency you pick and include every applicable fee.
  • Stripe handles payment. We don't store your card details.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders we suspect are fraudulent.

4. Getting and Activating Your eSIM

  • QR codes go to your email address immediately after purchase.
  • Checking that your device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked is your responsibility.
  • A plan activates the first time you connect to the destination network. Validity starts then.
  • Once installed, a plan cannot be transferred to another device.

5. Cancelling and Getting Money Back

Our refund policy is published at onetel.com.hk/refund-policy. In summary:

  • Unactivated eSIMs get a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
  • We may refund incompatible or locked devices, and connection failures that go unresolved.
  • Once a plan is activated or partly used, full refunds no longer apply.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Sell on, share, or hand off eSIM plans
  • Use the service to break the law
  • Try to reverse-engineer or tamper with our systems
  • Give false details when signing up or paying

7. Intellectual Property

Everything published on Onetel — text, logos, graphics, and code included — belongs to Onetel or its licensors, and cannot be copied without permission.

8. Limits on What We Cover

Onetel is not liable for network outages beyond our control, lost data, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages above the amount you paid for the order in question.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated version goes on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Keep using the service and you accept it.

10. Governing Law

The laws of Singapore govern these Terms. Any dispute goes to the courts of Singapore.
